Position Overview
Join our lab as a postdoctoral fellow focused on sickle cell disease research. This training position is designed to enhance your research independence and professional skills for a future research or academic career. You will help design and conduct research, develop new ideas, prepare scientific manuscripts, and may have opportunities to supervise research staff and teach techniques to others. The initial appointment is for one year with expected renewal based on satisfactory progress and funding availability, not to exceed five years total.
Requirements
Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in an appropriate field. Must demonstrate excellent scientific writing ability, strong oral communication skills, and the ability to work effectively and collegially with colleagues. Additional qualifications may be specified based on research focus.
